ODGRAIN is a UK based visual production house creating film, photography, post production and creative content for brands, businesses and stories that deserve more than ordinary visuals.
The name ODGRAIN comes from two ideas.
OD comes from the Bangla word Odbhut, meaning unusual, strange, extraordinary or not ordinary. Grain comes from film grain, photographic texture, analogue imperfection and the visual character that makes an image feel alive.
Together, ODGRAIN means unusual texture. Unusual visuals. Work that does not look generic.
To us, a strong frame should do more than look clean. It should carry feeling, purpose and character. It should make people stop, feel something, remember something or understand something better.
That belief is at the centre of everything we do.
Most photographers and videographers capture what is in front of them. They take the photos, shoot the video, deliver the files and stop there.
